The absence of (free) private repos in Github is somewhat daunting. It means that whatever I share is out there, in the world. But that may also be a benefit – not that anyone is likely to find any code I come up with, but if they do, they’re going to be able to critique it and, more importantly, improve it. But I really should take a look at Bitbucket.
